The role includes:

  • Accountability for designing and conducting effective research, with the ability to understand the best methods to test new and existing features with end users
  • Focus not only on quantitative research, but also on the exploration of behaviours, motivations, needs and pain points of the end users
  • Working closely with the User Experience Designers and Product Owner to ensure the experience evolves and adapts over the product’s lifecycle based on insight from the market and user base
  • Working closely with the User Experience designer to provide meaningful outcomes which inform initial concepts, user experience design and ultimately the continuous improvement of the journeys

  • A genuine passion for and expertise in a variety of research methods and Digital environments
  • A strong advocacy of the end user and customer base with confidence in conducting high quality and effectively designed research.
  • The ability to develop a strong understanding for our client bse and their customers
  • The ability to conduct effective and adaptable research, identifying key trends and themes throughout
  • A variety of research methods with a broad end user base
  • Confidence when explaining and presenting the rationale behind research methodologies and outcomes
  • Ensuring excellent communication of findings and analysis, with confident visual and verbal presentation supported by a great understanding of user-centred design
  • You will have the ability to challenge effectively and constructively, whilst driving research best practise
  • Excellent observational skills, be an excellent communicator, innovative and self-motived, with a positive approach to team work

Within the role you will research, review, audit and monitor information held on Niche Records Management System in compliance with MoPI and Quality Assurance Framework.

You will ideally have:

  • Knowledge of policing and police systems.
  • Good standard of education with good standard of literacy and numeracy.
  • Data inputting experience and high level of computer literacy.
  • Research, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Team working and ability to build good working relationships with other departments.

This role will go on till February 2021 paying £11.78 for the first three months and £12.53 after that. It is on a full time basis

There will be work over the weekends though all transport, accomodation and food etc is paid for and you get to go to some great events for free, including some of the biggest Music events.
