SHI has an exciting opportunity available in our Enterprise Solutions Group (UK) business unit for an Presales Business Development Manager dedicated to managing, developing and growing the Apple business at a local company level as part of the wider mobility team. The Apple Business Development Manager must possess a comprehensive knowledge of the technology market and its drivers as well as a strong understanding of the relevant Apple industry segments. The Apple Business Development Manager’s primary responsibility will be to generate demand for Authorized Products and Apple solutions and manage a pipeline of leads and sales opportunities as well as drive the execution of sales. In addition, the Apple Business Development Manager will be responsible for ownership of the Apple business plan. The role is based out of the SHI UK offices in Milton Keynes and will report into the Mobility Manager.
Responsibilities
Includes, but not limited to the following:
- Comprehend industry trends & practices for services & technologies in order to drive enhanced revenue for Apple products and the Apple ecosystem.
- Strategize and push for customer meetings both in person and over the phone to discover and grow new opportunities.
- Own the quote pipeline management. Ensure all records are up to date and accurate.
- Provide management & sales teams with status & progress reports as needed.
- Conceive ideas for sales plays and marketing activities that align with sales goals and drive initiatives.
- Lead customer calls & presentations for strategic opportunities and sales trainings.
- Collaborate with operations/project manager to ensure smooth deployments
- Be the leader on the team for your segment.
- Train new team members
- Create and nominate up to date information (products, programs, solutions) to be delivered to SHI sales through mySHI, email correspondence, trainings and SEED.
- Streamline team processes through new & existing tools
- Optimize travel plans when traveling to meet with reps and customers. Provide manager with travel report with agendas, pre/post meeting activities, contacts and lessons learned from the activities.
- Be the expert on Apple programs. Be able to navigate and manage complex opportunities and leverage Apple programs to ensure smooth transactions in accordance with those programs. Be able to ask the right questions, anticipate issues and drive towards successful resolutions
- Proactively provide suggestions on new ways to get in front of reps, drive sales & marketing activities, including networking opportunities.
Qualifications
- University Degree in an IT discipline or equivalent business experience • Any Apple related certification considered
- 2 years experience working with Apple Partner tools.
- 2 years experience selling or supporting the Apple products and Apple ecosystem
- Must have business development and partner team management experience with a proven track record of managing service partners and growing the business

Preferred Skills:
Well-qualified candidates will possess:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel as well as Apple iWork products
- Apple business development experience within a Pre-Sales Solutions Practice or VAR Reseller environment
