This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in cloud based and virtualized environments to become a key contributor in the evolution of a new virtual product line. Initially, the role will focus on researching, pre-configuring, optimizing and testing the system, working closely with the software engineering team to ensure it is fully functional in all supported environments. Responsibilities

• Researching product viability on range of cloud based and virtualized environments.
• Prototype deployment and configuration in each environment.
• Optimization and productization in each environment.
• Product testing in each environment, working with software and test engineers.

Skills

• Educated to Degree level in Computer Science or an equivalent subject.
• 3+ years’ experience in a relevant DevOps role.
• Working knowledge of two or more of the following environments / technologies: AWS, GCS, Azure, Openstack, ESX, KVM, HyperV, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of one or more orchestration technologies, e.g: Heatmap / Openstack, Kubernetes.
• Experience configuring and maintaining Linux environments.
• Strong logical and analytical skills.
• Ability to innovate and think “outside the box”.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with others in a dynamic, multi-discipline team.
• Demonstrated ability to respond to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
