1st Line Technical Support
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful CCTV distributor as 1st Line Technical Support. The support team play a fundamental role in supporting the company’s large customer database of trade CCTV installers.
Your role as 1st Line Technical Support will include:
• You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a professional manner whilst delivering an effective and timely response to support requests
• You will be required to work individually and as a team to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Responding to customer enquiries via email or phone or in person
• Ensuring all calls assigned to you are handled in the appropriate manner
• Communicating with customers regularly, keeping them up to date with how their ticket/request is proceeding
• Consulting with suppliers on technical matters on behalf of customers
• Remote supporting engineers and technicians in resolving technical issues via remote access software
• Attend training seminars to learn and advise sales staff on new products and technologies within the security industry
Benefits.
· £18,000 - £20,000 per annum (depending upon experience)
· Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri 9:00am 5:30pm
· Permanent
· 20 days holiday increasing by an additional day per year of service up to 25 days (excluding bank holidays).

About you
• Proven technical support experience
• Ability to handle high volumes of incoming calls
• A confident telephone manner
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effective
• A keen interest in technology
• Good level of IT skills
• Experience of using a CMS system is desirable
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at any given time
• Networking experience (understanding of TCP/IP, bandwidth, mobile networking) is desirable
