Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience Cloud Infrastructure to join a specialist provider of cloud computing and enterprise security solutions. You will be the senior consultant apart of a new technical delivery team for public cloud migration and managed services.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Meet with our customers and prospects and support our sales teams in understanding client challenges, relate their business and technology strategy to our capabilities and act as a bridge between sales and services operations
  • Design, hands on deployment and hand over to support, of GCP infrastructure solutions
  • Identifying opportunities for "new build" and "lift and shift" of on-premise or other cloud hosted environments into the Google Cloud, and working with the sales account team to win and then execute on these opportunities
  • Understand and influence key customer objectives and desired outcomes related to GCP infrastructure, and build and execute plans to ensure those outcomes are achieved
  • Deploy, and work with other teams to ensure delivery capability of, an on-going managed service for infrastructure customers to allow us to deliver on-going services and revenue streams
  • Input into the development of new cloud computing service offerings

Technical Skills & Requirements

  • Designing and delivering complex cloud based infrastructure projects as part of a world class public cloud infrastructure services team
  • Public cloud services, with a demonstrated ability to architect cloud solutions based on Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, App Engine, BigQuery etc.), Amazon Web services or Azure
  • Delivering infrastructure operations, migration services, cloud hosting or managed services
  • Commercial bid management, service delivery or managed service experience
