Data Architect Senior Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking an experienced data architect with substantive experience in leading architecture teams to join their global chief data office’s (GCDO) data architecture & modeling team to help deliver on the PwC Internal Data Strategy, which includes the design & build of PwC’s Common Data Model which will support a number of Reporting and Analytics use cases across PwC’s network of firms.

Preferred knowledge and skills

  • 8 years in data solution delivery

  • Experience with conceptual, logical and physical architecture design
  • Experience of working with SMEs, other EAs as well as business and data analysts to understand data requirements.Experience in working in a global cross-continent team
  • Experience using tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect and the Google Suite
  • Experience developing dimensional and other data models as part of an agile methodology.

The programme focuses on supporting you through our application process, developing skills and provides an insight into the opportunities available at PwC.

What you’ll do
During this three-day paid placement, you’ll work closely with a variety of people at all grades to learn what it's like to work at PwC, experiencing first hand the nature of the work that we do.

You’ll spend time with lots of different people, from graduates to senior leaders, attending meetings and working with our clients and teams to get real exposure to our business. Impress us during your time with us and you could earn a place on one of our Summer Internship or Work Placement roles for the following year. Our national opportunities will be running over the Easter and Summer holidays (restrictions for some areas).

You should also have done plenty of research into the area of PwC you'd like to join. We strongly advise you to apply for the business area and office that interests you the most as any subsequent offers will be made for this area only.

Tech

Responsibilities

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Directors and above
  • Train and lead staff
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
