I am currently recruiting for an IT/EPoS Field Service Engineer for a company based in the Peak District to undertake break fix calls for IT and EPoS hardware throughout the UK.

The company have been established for 40 years and provide end to end solutions implementing and supporting both software and hardware solutions for EPOS and Warehouse Management.

To be suitable for this position you would need to live within commuting distance to their offices.

The Role:

  • Undertake installations and break fix calls on EPoS equipment and back office IT hardware in retailers anywhere in the UK
  • Provide customer training on systems where applicable

Experience Required:

  • A recent IT or engineering qualification OR an active interest in technology and IT (like to repair PCs in spare time etc)
  • PC or IT hardware or EPoS break-fix experience (desirable not essential)
  • Technical couriers would be strongly considered
  • Full UK driving licence

Working Hours:

  • 38 hours per week Monday - Friday
  • 1 in 5 evenings and weekends; 10:00-22:00 Saturday & Sunday (days given off in lieu the following week)

Package:

  • £20,000 - £22,000 (DOE) + £2000 shift allowance
