Your new role
The IT Solutions Analyst will play a key role in a strategic infrastructure transformation programme by taking responsibility for the technical and business analysis during the first two stages of this programme; working with the IT Transition Manager and the Programme Change Lead to support the programme’s success. You will support the technical transition team to manage and maintain tan inventory of servers and systems; analysing the inventory to create logical groupings that will support programme delivery planning. Furthermore, you will work closely with the Programme Change Lead to review and prepare the new service operating model; developing new operational processes and procedures as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working on technically complex projects of work, with experience in different technologies and a solid understanding of application and database architecture. You will have proven experience working with IT suppliers, ensuring risk and issues are identified, tracked and reported in a timely manner. More so, you will be experienced in developing systems to improve performance and will be confident generating solutions analysis such as gap analysis and migration strategies. Furthermore, you will have proven ability in analysis of as-is and to-be processes, with the development of new ITIL-aligned processes and procedures in a multi-vendor environment and will have a solid understand of the ITIL framework.

Certifications such as ITIL, TOGAF or ISEB Business Analysis would be desirable but not essential.
