Your new role
As the IT Hardware Installations Manager, you will manage a team of 5 IT retail engineers, providing full hardware and software installation, break/fix and repair of EPOS and Back Office IT equipment. You will manage the performance of the team, conducting 1-2-1s , training and managing shift patterns.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience installing and supporting EPOS solutions, to include tills and back office + knowledge of structured data cabling / Local Area Networks / TCPIP.   • Identify the project approach to be used on a given project, whether agile or waterfall or a hybrid approach.
  • Proactively manage the relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external to the organisation), ensuring that their needs are understood and aligned to project objectives.
  • You may be required to act as a mentor to another member of the IT Department.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Certified Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent (Agile, PMI, APM)
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering medium to high complexity, strategic business change and IT projects
  • Experience of managing projects with multiple workstreams
  • Experience of managing project budgets in excess of £500k
  • Business Change delivery experience and Change Management experience within a complex matrix environment
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle
  • Very strong commercial and financial acumen. Experienced in developing complex financial business cases to demonstrate the viability of strategic projects
  • Flexible approach and mindset
  • A strong interest in emerging technologies including AI.
