A client of mine based in Chelmsford are currently looking for a Senior SQL Server DBA to join their innovative Tech team.

The SQL Database Administrator will be responsible for providing all aspects of administration support for an ITIL based ticketing tool. They have put a real emphasis on experts in Index strategies and Performance Tuning, while knowledge of related tech such as Log Shipping, Always On and Replication would be a plus.

Some of the ticket tasks you'll be required to perform are clustering, recovery, break fix, account administration in a shift based environment. Furthermore, as they are investing heavily into cloud technologies, experience with Azure is desirable.

They offer 2/3 days remote working a week also, and an On-Call shift scheme to earn extra.

This is an immediate requirement but they are able to wait for the right professional to join the team so please don't hesitate to apply.

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Cell Support Technician, to assist the Manufacturing Engineering Team in their mission to continually improve the manufacturing zones, to deliver zero accidents; zero defects; zero lead time and zero cost growth.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND in engineering (electronics is advantageous). Engineering Degree is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics is advantageous).
  • Working knowledge of electronics manufacturing process stages and test systems.
  • Competent at component level fault finding and repair is advantageous.
  • Must be PC literate with experience of Microsoft Office (Including Word, Excel and PowerPoint). SAP is advantageous.
  • An understanding of engineering drawings and circuit diagrams.
  • Understanding of technical investigations, problem solving and improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

Act as a second to Manufacturing Engineers on technical matters.

Implementation of VTPS and associated improvement activities. Actively seeking, developing and implementing continuous improvement ideas.

Implement, improve and maintain cell manufacturing system layout.

Update relevant zone documentation to support zero defect manufacturing.

Coordinate the returns to/from the internal manufacturing zones and external returns from other sites/customers. Implementation of related corrective and preventative actions.

Scheduled maintenance, programming and breakdown repair of the manufacturing equipment.

Delivery of daily and weekly equipment maintenance procedures (TPM).

Timely completion of internal and external audit actions.

Processing of rejected parts form the zone.
