Salary: £18,000 + Monthly Bonuses

Full time, working 40 hours per week 8.30PM - 5.30PM, Monday to Friday.

Customer Retention Specialist - The Role

  • Respond to incoming requests via telephone, email and online live chat to identify, inform and sell the correct hosting product to meet the customers need.
  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of our portfolio of products and services.
  • Respond to incoming requests for cancellation of services and identify opportunities to achieve retention.
  • To consistently achieve and exceed sales and retentions targets.
  • Direct customers to our online knowledge base to improve their future self service capability.
  • Document customer cancellation outcomes to add to our knowledge of reasons why customers choose to cancel their services with us.
  • Report regularly to Telesales & Customer Retentions Manager on all activities relating to the role.

Customer Retention Specialist - The Candidate

  • Proven track record of selling on the telephone.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Sales and/or Customer Service experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Representing the company professionally at all times.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage own workload.
  • Able to use MS Office programs: Outlook / Word / Excel.

To maximise the effectiveness of the Corporate Account managers by producing high quality leads and working as a team towards agreed set targets and profitability goals. To provide a high level of sales support by ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner.

  1. Data Cleanse leads and try and push for more information
  2. Identify opportunities, produce leads and book appointments for the sales force with the emphasis on high quality leads.
  3. Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors
  4. Proactively follow up leads generated from canvassing by the account managers.
  5. Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database
  6. Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business
  7. Incoming Calls - this includes taking incoming calls from prospective clients or customers and they are setting appointments for a sales representative to meet with each individual
  8. Outgoing Calls - making outgoing calls are being done by most appointment setters

Commission structure is uncapped with OTE of £26k - £28k (£10 per appointment / lead generated)

Progression as the team is looking to expand throughout the year.
