Please note that as a helpdesk they operate a 24x7 hour shift pattern consisting of:

4x Late Shift (2pm to 10pm)
2x Days off
4x Early Shift (6am to 2pm)

This team (ENG Integration Workflows) within the integration part of ENG connectivity and integration serves three roles. We provide data registration (APIs & best practices), generic acquisition (schedules and triggers), and delivery (to connectivity) for other Bloomberg business. We support and expand our hosted orchestration system that allows our internal implementations staff to create more complex workflows on behalf of our customers. Finally, we provide custom data acquisition tasks specifically on behalf of Trading Systems.

As a contractor of our team, you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of these client-facing integration services. Your key focus will be to make improvements to our services and UI focusing on maintenance, deprecation, tooling, or small feature requests.

You'll need to have: 
  • Experience in Python, C++, and JavaScript
  • Efficient software engineering skills to complete and deploy small changes quickly and safely
