Tech Lead Role Requirements

Ideally, you will have knowledge and expertise in broad range of technologies and past experiences in :

Our clients work on events including awards, gala dinners, exhibitions, product launches, roadshows, festivals, concerts, sporting events, weddings, private parties, conferences etc. Clients include but are not limited to Kylie Minogue, PUMA, Manchester United, Co op and Barclays.

Due to the companies continuous growth they are now looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their Manchester team.

As a Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for:

Meeting with clients and taking briefs
Coming up with creative ideas when and where needed, including how best to use the venue
Have a full technical understanding of what kit needs to go where and advise where appropriate
Be able to advise and put a full list together on any Audio Visual and technical equipment required (including vision mixers, speakers, lights, rigging, drapes, adaptors, cables,)
Get all of the information together and put together a full and detailed brief
Draw using AutoCAD or VectorWorks
Manage and arrange any crew including full time members and freelancers
Make sure everyone is fully briefed on all projects and knows where they need to be at all times
Take part in sales meetings
Be able to communicate with members of staff of all levels
Be confident when dealing with clients

Desired skills

Have a passion for the live events industry and make sure you are keeping up to date with the latest trends
Be open to taking time to do your own research and development

Your role is to ensure customers' needs are met and exceeded whilst searching for innovative ways to enable as many people as possible to benefit from our limited housing resource.

Our client is seeking customer focused, organised individuals with strengths in problem solving and negotiation, along with exemplary communication skills. You'll be a rare person who is capable of marrying strong self-management and administrative skills with empathy and support for individuals, yet capable of being tough when needed.
In this creative role you will take responsibility for implementing and evaluating 'customer sustainment plans'. A background working in a customer centred environment, delivering high levels of customer service is essential. Experience or understanding of delivering housing services and housing legislation is desirable, however our client is prepared to train for these skills and knowledge.
