The role is a fantastic opportunity to work for a professional and vibrant organisation offering an hourly rate of £14.00 - £22.00 per hour, plus holiday pay and other benefits. The position is a contract role initially signed off until end of December 2020 with a possible extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists all corporate and remote users with technical issues related to hardware, software and connectivity issues.
  • Provides first level end-user support.
  • Runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems and determines and implements solutions.
  • May provide desk side or remote assistance.
  • Determines when to escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate IT team for further support.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Position will receive direction and support.

Supporting Windows 10, O365, Apple devices, printers, Cisco IP telephony and teleconferencing systems. Not only proving second line support but also providing Infrastructure support for projects (Router upgrades, digital transformation projects etc.) if needed.

Qualifications:

  • Working computer and technical systems knowledge.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Full Driving License to travel out to our remote sites, Graveley, Newbury, Esher and Cambridge if needed. Company pool car used for travel.
