Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Train and lead staff

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

You will deliver a range of audit services and business advice to a variety of clients of all sizes, providing an excellent opportunity to embed both your project management and leadership skills. About the team


Our Business Restructuring Services (BRS) practice is currently the largest restructuring practice in the UK operating from 23 offices.

Within BRS, our Operational Restructuring practitioners work alongside Senior Executives to drive operational change at pace whether it be to reduce cost as a means of protecting margins, responding to a crisis or to realise the value of a deal or transaction.

We develop and implement realistic and pragmatic plans by applying restructuring and stakeholder management skills, functional knowledge, and proprietary assets and tools to support Executives in making difficult decisions and driving through change in a short timeframe.


About the role


Financial institutions are under significant pressure to make wholesale changes to their businesses and operating models as a result of the macro-economic and geopolitical landscape,increasing competition and ongoing revenue pressures.

We are expanding our FS team to support the increasing demand from our clients across Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance and Asset Management to transform their operations. As well as working with a wide range of clients, you will also work with leading practitioners across the Deals, Strategy & and Consulting practice within the Firm.

As a Senior Associate in the team, you will be part of the team responsible for helping with shaping the strategy and supporting with the implementation and rapid change delivery for our clients.

Who we are looking for

An opportunity has become available for a Senior Associate within our Corporate Simplification and Exit business (CSE) in the Midlands. This person will be responsible for assisting the CSE management team in all aspects of the administration of solvent liquidations.

The successful candidate will also help develop existing client relationships, both internally and externally, and develop further opportunities with the assistance of the management team.

Responsibilities
  • To ensure that all compliance and process matters are adhered to.

  • To meet all client expectations with respect to the high quality of service expected from a professional services firm.

  • Preparing and review company and legal documentation.

  • Communicating with and reporting to clients and external agencies (e.g. HM Revenue & Customs) and updating them on progress. Demonstrate proactive project management and stakeholder manager skills.

  • Prepare and monitor assignment budgets, identifying and flagging sensitivities and / or overruns to the CSE management team. Proactive in developing their technical knowledge, particularly their knowledge of the Insolvency Act 1986 and Companies Act 2006.

  • Visiting client locations and carrying out a review of financial statements and legal documentation.

  • Analysing company history, investigating information and undertaking research.

  • Ability to grow a network internally and externally and assist CSE management in business development activities.

Preferred skills

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants must have a strong academic background, and work experience within professional services including exposure to Law, Accountancy or (In)solvency would be an advantage.

  • Liquidation experience is preferable

Who we are looking for

An opportunity has become available for an Associate within our Corporate Simplification and Exit business (CSE). This person will be responsible for assisting the CSE management team in all aspects of the administration of solvent liquidations.

The successful candidate will also help develop existing client relationships, both internally and externally, and develop further opportunities with the assistance of the management team.


Responsibilities
  • To ensure that all compliance and process matters are adhered to.

  • To meet all client expectations with respect to the high quality of service expected from a professional services firm.

  • Preparing company and legal documentation.

  • Communicating with and reporting to clients and external agencies (e.g. HM Revenue & Customs) and updating them on progress.

  • Visiting client locations and carrying out basic review of financial statements and legal documentation.

  • Analysing company history, investigating information and undertaking research.

  • Develop proactive project and stakeholder management skills


Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
  • Applicants must have a strong academic background, and work experience within professional services including exposure to Law, Accountancy or (In)solvency would be an advantage but not a necessity.

The Role

The role is responsible for the development and maintenance of Advanced Analytics capabilities, taking the ownership of ‘Customer Relationship & Engagement Management’ business domains to support the Network Operations strategic and operational decisions.

The role holder will explore and leverage the Business Operations data, predominantly related to the ‘Customer Relationship and Engagement Management’ data domains, to deliver data solutions and analytic applications that add value to the Network Operations decision-making processes.

Works in collaboration with the Global Data Operations team (part of the Global Chief Data Office - GCDO), to capture, organize, govern and refresh the data required for serving the Analytics applications and ad-hoc insight delivery needs.

Manages the internal stakeholder expectations, coordinates the technical delivery of solution components, assures the efficiency and scalability of the applications developed by the off-shore service delivery teams and monitors and measures the services received against the SLAs.

Responsibilities/Duties

Business as Usual Service Delivery:

  • Manage the service demands and liaise with business stakeholders to verify analytic and insight needs and eliminate ambiguity.

  • Manage Stakeholder expectations by providing achievable timelines for outputs and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction with results.

  • Actively solicit stakeholder feedback for improving the Analytics services.

  • Propose appropriate recommendations for service, process and application improvements and optimization needs based on user/stakeholder feedback.

  • Promote the use of Self-Served analytics and insights delivered via the QlikView, Tableau, Power BI applications/tools)

  • Be part of the CoE for Reporting & Analytics services and assist the Self-Service users, providing guidance on the applications served.

  • Deliver and maintain the standards/principles, and advocate the best practice use of the Self-Service capabilities to ensure the consistency of delivered insights.

  • Liaise with the relevant service teams (e.g. IT, SDC, GCDO ) to resolve any system availability and performance issues.
