A much sought-after vacancy has arisen for a School Receptionist and Administrator to work full time, term time only at a School that enjoys a reputation of high academic standards within a caring, happy environment.

St. Andrew’s School is looking to appoint a highly organised, articulate and friendly individual to provide full-time receptionist duties and assist with administrative tasks in the Main School Office. The role also requires delivery of first aid and medication to KS2 pupils with the support of a School Administrator.

You will be the welcoming face of the school and will provide a positive first impression to all visitors, students and staff members. You will need to be adaptable and confident with good spoken and written communication skills, an excellent telephone manner and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Experience working within a school environment and knowledge of an MIS would be advantageous. Previous post holders have also driven the school minibus on occasion and the willingness to progress this skill would also be an advantage.

There is also the availability of additional hours to manage/support the running of the School Breakfast Club for the right candidate.

You will have:

  • A good standard of general education with strong IT skills and experience using standard office programmes
  • Organisational skills are essential with the proven ability to prioritise your work and ability to deal with a wide range of situations
  • Ideally you will have experience of working in a School Office although we will consider transferable skills

The Role
