Business Analyst - Logistics / Warehouse - Northampton - c£50k - Car Allowance

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is able to do the traditional scoping / BRD piece but also able to act as a non-technical architect to pull together the technical solution designs to ensure they meet the requirements both in terms of meeting minimum requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with business colleagues and customers to capture scope requirements for projects, change requests or initiatives and innovations
  • Create business requirement document and gain sign off from relevant stakeholders
  • Work with technical colleagues to ensure IT solution meets business, commercial and strategic requirements
  • Present final solution back to senior stakeholders

  • Support teams with IT and the wider business in the strategy and innovation reviews of applications and tools

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience working with senior decision makers in commercial engagements
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
  • Proven analytical background
  • Able to translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa
  • Leadership and management skills, able to lead and collaborate with business and technical teams
  • Commercial awareness

The focus for this position is designing data-rich UI/UX for their users, building charts, tables, dashboards and lists to visually display the core data being mined by the Python and Angular Engineers.

You will visualise real time data for the internal systems, as well as producing platforms well and beyond the typical branding, landing page and single page apps.

The team is design focussed, offering freedom in opinions, ideas, efficiency and evolving their award-winning platforms where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience creating detailed deliverables: Wireframing/Personas/User Journeys/Sketches/Prototypes/User Flows
  • Knowledge working in an Agile environment
