My client is a Managed Service Provider based in Ipswich, Suffolk. An opportunity for an outgoing and hardworking 2nd line IT support engineer is available to join their growing team.
You will help their growing customer base with on-site visits and remote. Travel to some other business centres and clients across East England may also be required plus the chance to work from home occasionally.
Key knowledge and skills that are required:
• Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server, Office 365 and Exchange plus Networking and VLAN required.
• Excellent operating and network system skills
• Excellent knowledge of computers, peripherals and related hardware
• Excellent support skills by telephone, email or on-site
• Advanced knowledge of Network & general IT systems preferred
Personal Attributes:
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to quickly diagnose and resolve problems
• Positive, proactive attitude to all tasks
• Good people skills, able to get on with clients and colleagues
• Able to provide Out of Hours cover as part of Helpdesk rota
• Clean driving licence and car required
• Immediate start welcome
