Your main role will be to design, build and test visualfiles applications.

Your main duties within this role include:-

I am currently on the lookout for a Junior/ Graduate Manual Tester to join a top bank based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review requirements documentation to identify the scope of testing and produce test basis artefacts including: Requirements Traceability, Test Conditions, Test Scripts and Test Output documentation.
  • Execute test cases under controlled conditions recording evidence for sign off by relevant business stakeholders, ensuring issues are recorded, tracked and resolved and relevant UAT documentation such as Regression Test Packs are updated accordingly.
  • Escalate system issues or defects to the relevant support team whilst investigating alternative options and proposing possible solutions where applicable.
  • Produce daily progress reports to track against plans and raise potential delays/issues to Senior Test Analysts/Test Leads.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the systems which UAT Services support and the testing tools used i.e. Azure DevOps.
  • Provide training and support to business areas on new developments where applicable.

Key Skills/ Experience

  • Experienced/ Graduate Manual Test Analyst

This is a key role assist in the maintenance of their EPOS solutions in various retail or office environments. It is paying £10.47 per hour via a Ltd or Umbrella company. The successful candidate must have a clean UK licence. You will be given a company Van.

Locations you will cover: South/South West

9 hour shifts, 6 days on and then 3 days off, with the shift blocks rotating between an early shift (7am-4pm), and a late shift (11am-8pm). Shift patterns may change as dictated by the needs of the business.

Your duties will include:

  • Installation of new EPOS hardware including, data cabling if appropriate

  • Installation and deployment of systems using correct and documented procedures

  • Provide EPOS operational standards advice - Via Telephone, modem, Best Practice and / or training

  • Ensuring personal availability at all times required within defined territory(s)

  • Holding adequate spares availability at all times within defined territory(s)

  • Compliance that all deployed / repaired systems are asset tracked and assigned to the correct customer

  • Ensuring non-EPOS PC based ordering systems are supported and available

  • Support the Helpdesk team as required

  • General administration duties

  • Communicate any observations of future potential issues which may arise from any IT system

  • Stock management
