We are looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join our growing Information Security team.

You will be working for Allianz UK, within the Information Security team, as part of a team of Information Security experts supporting the Allianz UK Insurance business. As a Security Analyst you will help ensure that we protect our customer and brand information and meet all relevant regulatory compliance obligations. You will partner with and influence a variety of stakeholders to ensure Information Security is embedded in our culture.

Whilst this position is dedicated to supporting the Allianz UK Insurance business, you will also be very much a part of the Allianz Group Information Security community, where you will find plenty of career development opportunities both within the UK and within the wider Allianz Group - which has 88 million customers in over 70 countries and over 140,000 employees.

The Information Security team is responsible for security testing, red-team exercises, monitoring vulnerabilities and threats, security assurance of suppliers and security incident response. The role is based in the Guildford Head Office, and will require collaboration with other Allianz sites in the UK and overseas with occasional travel expected.

Main Duties:

Partnering with our Business to provide a risk based approach to Information Security you will be:

  • Providing Information Security advice and consultancy to a wide range of stakeholders across business and IT, communicating complex technical subjects in simple language, and ensuring that information security risk is understood across the business. This includes:
    • Ensuring threat and risk assessments are completed for change activities, and appropriate information security controls included within project requirements
    • Engagement with project teams to review and provide advice and recommendations on requirements, solution designs, test plans and other change artefacts to ensure that they comply with Allianz security policies and standards,
    • Ensure residual risks are identified, documented and managed through the information security risk management framework.
    • Taking a "Business Partner" role to ensure that senior stakeholders within assigned business areas are regularly updated on information security risk topics.
  • Working closely with the Change and IT teams to embed and continually improve the information security development life-cycle.
  • Developing relationships and influencing key business stakeholders.
  • Working closely with our Architecture function to provide information security advice so that Architecture artefacts remain update to reflect emerging information security threats and trends. .
  • Assisting with addressing questions from internal and external audit reviews conducted on Allianz and recommending remediation and corrective actions
  • Assisting the team with compliance activities including Audits and Risk assessments against PCI DSS, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials and Group Information Security Framework Controls.

Financial performance - some great stats: Revenues have increased from £25m pa to £35m in 2 FY years, with corresponding growth in profits and with nearly 80% recurring revenues resulting from their SaaS model offerings. Clients across all major commercial verticals.

We are recruiting 2 x Sales professionals responsible for both acquisition of new clients and also development of several existing clients. You will work in conjunction with the marketing team, the telemarketing / demand generation team and pre sales consultants to create new business relationships, defining business needs and developing further the GTM proposition. Typical SaaS contracts are £150k - £750k pa on multi-year contracts with commission earned in each contract year!

Key responsibilities and deliverables:


• Develop a healthy pipeline.
• Close new contracts with new clients and with existing accounts that deliver target income streams as per agreed targets.
• Work with Marketing to ensure maximum exposure at trade shows, conferences and key events
• Sales planning, forecasting and outcomes to the Management team using Sales Force
