About the Role

In this role you will deliver User experience across our Consumer Credit Division, working on all websites and mobile apps. In addition to designing wireframes, building prototypes, guiding user research, and writing code for amends to the application interface, you will spend time understanding key digital/non-digital customer interactions to build a three-dimensional view of customers experience in order to bring about a positive impact on customer conversion and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate and engage colleagues, educating them in a User Focussed design approach, encouraging and influencing them to change their ways of working and processes.
  • A key driver of advocacy for customer focussed digital services and customer centric digitisation across business and development teams.
  • Set clear objectives to drive individual performance to achieve delivery of departmental targets and goals that are aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Focus and implementation of actions based on tasks identified through activity such as conducting user interviews, customer care colleague interviews and user behaviour analysis.
  • Focus on tasks supporting a customer-centric approach to UX that continually improve our core digital user journeys and how our customers flow through them.
  • Support on usability issues and EA 2010 compliance over aspects of typography, layout, colour, graphics, visual effects, imagery, texture, mood.
  • Direct experience writing HTML and CSS code to implement changes to visual design and an understanding of server-side languages at a junior level.
  • Customer Centricity and UX processes to support and drive the achievement of CCD Balanced Scorecard Performance Measures and identify areas of improvement to drive performance.
  • Ensure all activity is focussed on maximising customer experience while also delivering commercial benefits.
  • Provides operational and specialist insight to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that the FCA focus on Customer Outcomes is an innate part of our transformational change agenda, roadmap and backlog prioritisation.


About You

  • Experience of researching and analysing user behaviour and interpreting back to actionable tasks designed to improve sales conversion.
  • Ability to rapidly understand and balance the intersection and impact of SEO and UX in customer experience
  • Clear understanding of customer centred design principles

  • Experience of test and learn principles with examples
  • Exposure to agile design and development methodologies
  • Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Axure (or other prototyping tools) to develop interactive prototypes

The Service Engagement & Transition Manager will work as part of the Service Engagement and Transition (SET) team and will be responsible for working with a team of internal and external partners to deliver complex solutions in alignment with overall technology strategy and business requirements. The Cryptography Technician will be responsible for assisting in the management of cryptographic keys, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and associated system infrastructure necessary to ensure information confidentiality, integrity and availability. - Provide security, cryptography and key management guidance to company personnel.

- Provide support in the evaluation of security controls, data protection requirements, encryption schemes and vendor solutions.
