Our client who provides end to end IT support for Businesses are looking for a dedicated and conscientious 1st line support engineer to join their expanding team in Fleet, Hampshire.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to new and existing support calls, providing an efficient and friendly 1st line support function across an array of systems for clients. Where possible providing remote support to first contact resolution.
  • Log and prioritise all IT incidents in the ticketing system, where appropriate escalating to 2nd and 3rd line support teams.
  • Ensure excellent communication with customers via the telephone and email, ensuring they are kept up to date on their incident whilst managing their expectations.
  • Perform hardware and software diagnostics on problematic customer computers in the in-house workshop.  This will include hardware repairs and installation of operating systems and relevant software.
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers as required, for example; logging warranty tickets.
  • Monitor internal backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Key Skills Required

  • Working knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Good understanding of basic network protocols.
  • Working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems from 7 through to 10 and Microsoft office packages from 2007 onwards.
  • Exposure to troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritise issues based on impact and severity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative.
  • Excellent telephone manner.

  • Shape and define Supply Chain processes to support SAP IBP implementation.
  • Prepare Functional Specs for the build of WRICEF objects.
  • Lead a small team of onshore and offshore resources as a single delivery team

Skills / Experience:

  • Experience as an SAP IBP consultant with an excellent track record of project delivery
  • Experience or an avid interest and conceptual understanding of SAP IBP and its integration with S/4HANA, Fiori and a commitment to learn and develop in the new technologies
  • Strong integration knowledge
  • Knowledge of SAP IBP interface technologies (HCI and/or SDI) would be an advantage
